Biography
I am an experienced psychotherapist for adolescents, young adults and adults.
I have experience working with clients struggling with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, adjustment issues, identity formation, self-esteem, disordered eating, relationship concerns, grief and loss, and parenting difficulties.
I began my career in mental health as a Psychiatric Social Worker in the Emergency Room at Children’s National Hospital, and then worked as a psychotherapist for several years with middle and high school students in the Montgomery County public school system. Before opening my own practice, I worked as a psychotherapist at The Center for Family Well-Being in Washington, D.C.
I continued my studies at the Washington School of Psychiatry and the Washington Baltimore Center for Psychoanalysis, and am currently enrolled in a course of study at The Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute.
I am a native Spanish speaker. I received a B.F.A. from The Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and an M.S.W. from the National Catholic School of Social Service at Catholic University.
