Biography
I have experience working in a variety of settings and across different human developmental stages. Before entering private practice, I worked with children and teens as a Psychiatric Social Worker in the Emergency Room at Children’s National Hospital; middle and high school students as a counselor in the Montgomery County, Maryland public school system; college students at Marymount University’s counseling center; and the elderly through the MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
I received my MSW from the National Catholic School of Social Service at Catholic University and my BFA from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. I am a recent graduate from a 2-year program at The Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute to obtain additional certification in psychodynamic therapy. I believe that the search for self-understanding is a lifelong process that involves continuous learning.
