Biography
I am an experienced psychotherapist for adolescents and their families, young adults, and adults. Before opening my private practice, I worked in a group practice in Washington, D.C. called The Center for Family Well-Being.
I began my career in mental health as a Psychiatric Social Worker in the Emergency Room at Children’s National Hospital, and then worked with middle and high school students in the Montgomery County public school system.
I have experience working with clients struggling with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, adjustment issues, identity formation, self-esteem, disordered eating, relationship concerns, grief and loss, and parenting difficulties.
I grew up in South America and am a native Spanish speaker. I received a B.F.A. from The Tisch School of the Arts at New York University and an M.S.W. from the National Catholic School of Social Service at Catholic University. I live in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with my husband and four children.
